In the summer of 2019, I visited a beautiful country in North Africa, named Morocco. It’s one of the most attractive places I have ever been to and a perfect one to spend your vacations at. Want to know why? You’re about to find out.

Hello everyone, my name is Raheem and I’ll tell you a little story about my travel journey to Morocco. Morocco is a very welcoming country that has a rich history. Its capital city is Rabat that rests along the shores of a river and an ocean. It’s famous for beautiful landmarks and buildings that are designed and made so delicately. When I visited these landmarks, I got the perfect view of the Atlantic Ocean and Bou Regreg River. It was so fascinating to see, I took so many photos.

This wasn’t the only city I visited. I explored Casablanca, Fes, Marrakech and Agadir as well who each have a wonderful history and tourist spots that you must visit. The buildings and their designs in each of these cities are so cultural and artistic, such as that of the Koutoubia Mosque, El Bahia Palace and Grand Mosque. Remember these name children, they may be hard to pronounce but these places are beautiful.

There are so many fun things to do in Morocco. They have many wonderful museums where I learnt about their history. There are also zoos and aquariums that I visited in different cities. There are a variety of animals in Morocco such as hedgehogs, sand cats and squirrels. If you love animals, you’ll love this place.

The weather in Morocco is diverse and varies with the season and region. The inland areas have a hot and dry climate while it’s cooler in the mountains. Although the country is an all-year round destination, you can visit anytime but it’s best to go during April-May or September-November. If you are planning a vacation with your parents, tell them what you learned about Morocco and visit this beautiful country someday.
